A Change Of Art
“When an artist falls in love with you, you can never die. You'll forever exist on lines, poetry, lyrics, paintings, and photos. You're immortal in that way.”
-Unknown
While the month of February is the shortest, it's also our last full winter month, a final invitation to stay cozied up indoors, sowing creative seeds for the spring... and boy, do we still have some ways to go until warmer days reach us. How is everyone doing? Are you keeping your hands busy? How so?
My mom is a crochet-queen; making everything from plant hangers to blankets from miles of yarn. She's in a large community crochet group on Facebook, where she has especially become a fan of Beata Bylinka's unique "crochet paintings". As my mom was telling me about them, she sent me a picture and I was instantly astonished. I sent Beata a message on Facebook, requesting her friendship and seeking her permission to share her talent in our newsletter.
Before a response was received, I envisioned my strange message landing unnoticed in her 'message-requests' inbox, all while this artist somewhere in Poland spun a tornado of colorful knots and woven threads into whimsical masterpieces. To my thrilled surprise, she replied rather quickly and kindly, granting us permission to share her + her art with our readers here in the U.S. of A.
Beata does not have a website, but she invites you to view more of her artwork on Instagram and Facebook!

To submit art, send us an email with some pictures of your artwork. You can respond directly to this email.
