What is "Giclée"?
Giclée (zhee·klay) (noun) - a process by which high-quality prints are produced using an ink-jet printer.
Giclée Printing and Framing (noun) - a cozy archival print shop located in the historic Indian Orchard Mills.
“By March, the worst of the winter would be over. The snow would thaw, the rivers begin to run and the world would wake into itself again.”
-Neil Gaiman
Happy March, subscribers! We hope this email finds you well (and above snow levels)!
We're feeling the pull of spring like never before, with a whole bunch of new things happening here at Giclée. Before we dive into the new services and offerings, we'd like to put a spotlight on our chosen artist of the month- Ethan Abitz! Ethan is a creative travel photographer, particularly skilled in capturing the beautiful scenes of local and faraway lands in both digital and film formats. Ethan's been printing with us for over a year, creating large sized giclées of his images, some we're fortunate to have in our shop for sale and admiration. Find the gold at the end of the rainbow right here in Palmer and see his work in person!
You can follow along on Ethan's creative adventures on Instagram:

Bring in your old film negatives and get high quality scans done right here in house with us. We'll make sure they look just as good as if they were our own. You can find more info on our website, just click here!

Call For Art: Spring Gallery
We're looking to collaborate with local artists who'd like to have their work in our space here at Giclée! We don't have a particular subject or theme of focus at this time, but with spring being on our minds, we do hope that if you're an artist infatuated with all things floral, ethereal, and lighter elements, that you get in touch with us! We have a lot of beautiful space here that faces a busy parking lot all day- come hang your art for the spring season and let it shine for folks to enjoy.
*Our only request is submitted pieces be ready to hang via wire.
(We're able to help with this if your art is on stretched canvas!)
Interested participants may email us, or respond directly to this email with sample images of their artwork. Don't forget to share with your art friends!
